Glastonbury Festival
In June 2023, Jacob was buzzing to play two sets at the legendary Glastonbury Festival!
On the hottest week of the year, Jacob performed on the solar-powered Croissant-Neuf stage and had an amazing time.
Highlights of the week included arriving the day before the festival opened and being able to visit an empty Pyramid Stage and, of course, being able to open his set by shouting ‘Hello Glastonbury!’ to the crowd!
Being able to take his guitar around the most famous fields in the world at just 18 years old was definitely one of the best experiences of his life!
“Brilliant! Fantastic! Superb!
What a talent! We love you – come back every night! “
Ewood Lights
To start 2023, Jacob released a single, ‘Ewood Lights’, for Blackburn Rovers FC, who allowed him full access to Ewood Park to film the official video. On New Year’s Day he was interviewed live on the pitch at half time. The song is now being played in the stadium at every Rovers home match for the remainder of the season and beyond. Jacob also played the track live on ITV News for Granada Reports on 17th March.
51 Cities In 22 Consecutive Days
In 2021 Jacob organised and took part in a mammoth ‘All 51 Cities In 22 Consecutive Days’ Busking Tour of England, raising over £10K for Derian House Children’s Hospice.
During the tour he met and was interviewed by Celebrity YouTuber Jaackmaate, was shouted out to 3500 people by his hero Frank Turner at the O2 Apollo, and appeared on ITV News and several BBC Radio Stations.
As a result of the tour, Jacob reached the final of the Amplifon Young Hero Awards, leading to a feature in the Daily Express. Jacob’s single, ‘Nothing Is Impossible’, the ‘anthem’ of the busking tour has been chosen as a key part of National Careers Week 2022. Frank Turner, who appears in the video, said ‘Man, what a video… and song of course – LOVED it!’
